Gansu Zhaotan New Materials Co., Ltd. is a privately held enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of carbon-based materials. Headquartered in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, we hold multiple prestigious credentials, including: Permanent Council Member of the Carbon Industry Association, National High-Tech Enterprise certification, Municipal-level Engineering Technology R&D Center. It currently stands as a large-scale single-entity production base for graphite new materials with a full set of processes in China.

Crafting The World’S Luxury Graphite Electrodes
Our core product line comprises graphite electrodes ranging from Φ200mm to Φ700mm in diameter, available in: Φ200mm—Φ700mm Regular Power (RP), High Power (HP) and Ultra High Power (UHP) grades. These products are widely used in smelting industries such as steel, yellow phosphorus, industrial silicon, brown fused alumina, and non-ferrous metals. They are well-established in over twenty provinces, municipalities and regions across China, and are exported to multiple countries and regions including Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Process Equipment
We have three full-process production and processing lines, main production equipment include: one 4100ton vertical ramming and horizontal extrusion machine, two 3500ton extruding machine, one 1600ton extruding machine, two horizontal vibration forming machines, two sets of automatic batching system, two sets of 18-chamber annular baking furnace, two sets of 32-chamber annular baking furnace, 3 sets of LWG graphitization furnace, 2 sets of horizontal impregnation tank, 2 sets of 24-tank calcining furnace and 4 sets of fully-automatic CNC machining system, and 2sets of inspection and testing systems.
Application Area
Graphite electrodes are widely used in non-ferrous metal smelting (including steel production), chemical industries, anti-corrosion materials, as well as new energy and anode material applications. Our products are well-established in major domestic steel groups including Baowu, Hualing, HBIS, CITIC Pacific, and Shagang Group. Internationally, they are exported to Russia, Canada, South Korea, Turkey, Southeast Asia, Europe, and other countries and regions along the Belt and Road initiative.
